There comes a time in every young actor's life when you get the role you've been dreaming of your whole (short) life. And for a 16-year-old Ryan Gosling, that was a lead role in - let's be honest - the greatest TV show that has ever graced our screens: Goosebumps.

heatworld reminded us that Ryan mustered up all his previous acting training to play Greg in the 1996 episode of book-series-come-TV-show Goosebumps, Say Cheese And Die, which is about a group of friends who find a camera that – yup, you guessed it – kills the person who's having their photo taken.
Imagine the carnage on school photo day…

Anyway, adorable Ryan does a fantastic job of really making us believe that camera really does kill people, and that's pretty hard to do. Especially when you're just a kid who happens to have glorious, sun-kissed curtains and one of the finest plaid shirts the 90s had to offer.
Ryan did have some previous experience in the pre-teen horror genre, mind you – he also starred in an episode of Are You Afraid Of The Dark?
It's almost like he got type-cast as a cute kid who knows how to handle himself when it comes to scary shit that isn't actually that scary when you look back at it.
